Meet Mrs. Heather Burtch – Vice Principal

My passion for education has always been rooted in students; their ideas, their questions, their dreams, and their limitless potential. For the past 24 years, I have been dedicated to teaching and leadership, guided by a simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen, heard, supported, and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.

Some of the most influential people in my life were teachers who truly listened, who guided with patience and care, and who believed in me even when I doubted myself. Their impact shaped not only who I became, but also why I chose this profession. I strive to be that kind of educator for our students, as someone who nurtures confidence, encourages curiosity, and challenges young learners to think creatively and courageously about their futures.

I believe in helping students grow both academically and personally, thinking outside the box, embracing differences, and approaching the world with acceptance and an open mind. When students feel supported and cared for, they are more willing to take risks, explore new ideas, and pursue their dreams with determination.

Thailand has been my home for 24 years, and it is a privilege to serve a community that values growth, connection, and global mindedness. Every day, I am inspired by our students and remain committed to guiding them as they discover their passions, build resilience, and work toward fulfilling their unique dreams.
